A round of beer to all!

I have been called to freelance for Disney.I just finished my first full week. My internship ending in the middle of July and I was getting really bummed out about it, plus I hadn't been looking for a new job either. So just when I was feeling my worse I get this voicemail from Leah one of the Senior Design Managers at Disney for the Infant Toddler team and she is really hoping I can come in for a while because they got swapped with all this Pirates stuff. So I'm excited to be back at work with my truely wonderful co-workers and I get to create the graphics I love with characters we are all familar with. Now instead of making $16/hour as an intern I can bill $45/hour(fingers crossed, trust me I'm worth it,www.hobobugstudios.com) as a freelancer, and my rates can only go up from there. But's not even about the money to me, the money is a plus as far as I'm concerned - its my self esteem, work, and co-workers that I get excited about. I ride the Metrolink from Riverside to Burbank everyday I go to the Disney tower building and its like an adventure everytime.

Along the lines of the Metrolink, I have had a remarkable sense of confidence overcome me in my ability to learn how to drive. I am 21, soon to be 22 in December and I still havn't earned my driver's license. However, with all this excitment and assurance type state of mind I feel confident that by Christmas I will have a driver's license and hopefully I will haved saved up enough for a nice down payment on a new car.

That will be great I will finally have my life set- for now. Nice job, ability to drive, self esteem and nice clothes. I think I'll hit the gym and adapt a new diet. Then I can really enter the seen and start dating. Its gonna be hard to actually enter the "gay scene," but we all need to get out feet wet sometime. I want to be that "Power Lesbian" type from the L Word. I want to move out of my parents house and get my own apartment in LA, have my own car, own career and just start living life outside a bubble.
